John is Swedish and started playing bass 3 years ago. Philippe is French, and plays guitar, piano, and sings. They both live in Noe Valley, San Francisco, are roommates, and practice in their garage! Although they have both been playing together in various bands, they performed just the two of them for the first time on September 29th 2008 at Hotel Utah. They wrote their first song, "15 Miles east of nowhere" together.
