Hey Everybody !!! I am a songwriter, drummer and arranger for The Moanin Dove and Honeybody and the Moonbees. I feel very positive about the music I've made in these contexts and hope you dig it too. Also the Utah is one of my favorite forums to present music and JJ does a bang up job of hosting, which is one of the two main reasons that this is the best openmic in the city. Not to be a cheerleader, I also like really dark music but I think the songs I perform are good to have fun with. Some of them can be pretty fucked up but for the most part I'm having a good time. I really like literature and that has a big influence so I think of music really an extension of that for me. Anyway I love talking to people about art and if I seem aloof just kick me in the pants and I'll talk. I know my groups often get across well at the Utah and that is sweet although I don't really understand it because my favorite performers are a select few other folks. I like good music and I don't take my own too seriously (though i once did) it is what it is and I am content.
